FTK Imager version 3.0 is available

Latest release of FTK Imager 3.0 is available here with new and improved features that make it a valuable tool for the forensic investigator in the process of evidence adquisition and preview and analysis.

Verifying BackTrack 4 as forensic tool

I did a quick verification of BackTrack 4 (see my previous post) in order to check that no disks (including swap partitions) are mounted during the boot process when the forensics option is selected from grub menu.
